The deadline to apply is July 1.

To qualify, you must meet these criteria:

  • You must have been honorably discharged from the military.
  • Your disability is rated as 100% permanent and total.
  • You have owned and occupied the home as your primary residence since January 1 of the year of application.

You can get the tax exemption application form from the Colorado Division of Veterans’ Affairs website.
