I am already receiving Veterans' Disability benefits. Can I get Social Security disability benefits also?

If you meet all the medical criteria for Social Security disability (SSDI), you can receive both types of benefits.   

Vets can apply for Social Security disability Disabled veterans can apply for Social Security too.

The Social Security Act allows you to get SSDI disability payments in addition to veterans' disability benefits. 

Keep in mind that there are some limits on how much you can receive if you're a veteran entitled to VA Pension benefits.
