Social Security Disability FAQs
If the Administrative Law Judge denies my claim, can I appeal?
Yes. If you lose your hearing, you can appeal to the Appeals Council, which is part of the Social Security Administration.
You should appeal your case if you think you can't work.
Appeals are complicated. They are much different than getting a case ready for hearing. So, it's a good idea to contact an attorney who is experienced in appeals.
We've handled many appeals to the Appeals Council and Federal Court. If you would like to discuss your appeal with our attorney, you can call our office or fill out our online case evaluation form. We would be happy to schedule an appointment for a free consultation.
